Sharon Marie Clarke-Marris is based in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, her work is representational in a photorealistic style.  Sharon's recent work in mixed media uses the juxtaposition of exaggerated colourful acrylic paint with the fine detail and tonal value of pen, ink, and black watercolour, creating detailed striking images of flora and fauna with the aim of highlighting the beauty of the natural world and the importance of biodiversity.

Sharon’s work has been shortlisted in the Jacksons 2017 Marker and Pen Drawing competition, longlisted in the 2018 Emerging Artist Prize and again in the 2020 Jacksons Painting Prize.  Her work can also been seen each year in the charitable Twitter Art Exhibition.
